The Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA) is the leading international community for human resources professionals in the public sector. We provide the resources, opportunities, and advocacy needed to advance the HR profession and help our members excel in their careers.

Founded in 2021, PSHRA–Mississippi (PSHRA–MS) proudly serves as the home for public sector HR professionals throughout our state. In 2025, we were honored to be recognized as a Star Chapter by the national PSHRA organization!

This year, PSHRA–MS is expanding its outreach and engagement across Mississippi—connecting with HR professionals in cities, counties, state agencies, and educational institutions. Our goal is to build a stronger statewide network where public sector HR leaders can collaborate, share best practices, and grow together.
